Egads! I just realized how long its been since I've touched my genealogy or this blog.... I'm a tax preparer... can you tell when I get swamped?
So this post will be rather short and sweet... the funeral card for William T. Rosa, oldest son of James and Ruth Rosa.
The inscription on the stone is from a hymn, "Peaceful in Thy Silent Slumber," which was written by the man who wrote the lyrics to America" (My Country, Tis of Thee)--S. F. Smith.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these old funeral cards. They are so elegant.
